Oh, kids..... The Mighty Geo has seen more of this fine country than I have. No, wait; I've always been driving. Scratch that.

ANYWAY, it's been to Seattle so many times it has a favorite gas station (Gus Cooper's at Fremont and 46th N.); it has cruised by the Twin Towers in NYC; it loves San Francisco and Portland almost as much as I do; it knows the way to my friend Penny's in Denver; it's been to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame (Cleveland) twice; and it knows its way to and from Minneapolis so well that I often just snooze in the back seat. It has seen New Orleans before the flood. And yes, it's been to Disneyworld.

It's an awesome little car.

Halleluia

Don't know what i like more: the old Mighty Geo or the new Hybridaire.
I'm gonna go with the two 22 minute spray rinses; that's real class as is letting the car drive itself. You sure know how to go on grand tours. Here's to another 200 thou !!!!! Long Live Frigi....................................

22 minute spray

Wishful thinking. Thanks for pulling me out of my reverie/hallucination. Check "A real treat" in the Imperial Forum.

Isn't life wonderful. Full of love. Right now-----for YOU !!!!

My god I'm so embarassed

On my computer, when you click on subject drift, a list of all your former entries come up, and if you're not careful, look what happens. Incoherence.

Actually, if the car is 12 years old and has 200,000 miles, that's about 16,600 miles per year. Certainly not excessive. What puzzles me is when you come across used cars that are a year or two old and they already have 40 or 50,000 miles. Can't even imagine driving that much.

Sure glad it has been so wonderful and reliable for you!! Enjoy the next 200,000 miles. Does the car itself still look pretty good?

My '99 has 56,000 miles on it, and still looks like new. It too is a very reliable car. I'll drive it at least until I'm 50, I think, another 6 years, then we'll assess. Maybe I'll buy myself a 50th birthday present, or maybe we'll push it to 55. We'll just see, LOL. It's hard to even know what I'd get, but most likely it would be a 3-series BMW.

My sister told me the other day that my Dad's 1988 Ford F-150 truck has 66,000 miles on it, and that the there are still stickers from the factory on the radio, LOL. That replaced a 1973 Ford truck that he drove back and forth to work when he worked. That one had finally rusted through to the point where you could see outside by the floorboards, LOL. He pretty much drives his 2004 Camry now, since it's easier on gas and for him to handle. They only used the later truck occasionally as needed, since they'd often go someplace together in the car.

Yep, Scott, my company van is one of those! It's go 50,000 miles on it, and they got it for me in March of 2005! I spend lots of time in the van running service calls doing hard time in northern VA / DC traffic. Despite it's young age and good care, I wouldn't invflict that van on anyone I know as a used vehicle considering the traffic it's been through!

Those mid 90's Toyota Corollas are some pretty good cars. I know two friends that have them and they are high-mileage road warriors just like yours! The nice thing about them too is that the engines are amazingly simple and aren't hard to work on at all when they rarely do need service
