I think that is the nicest little blender! 1957 must have been an odd year at Oster, designs that only lasted a season? And then they went back to the standard up to today.
I am surprised that unit has the wagon wheel drive I thought that was a 1960's innovation. Today they are going back to the steel block and calling it "all metal drive"!!
Rex: I was very surprised and found it by accident that the cutter assembly was entirely different. Even the blade lenght is longer than the regular models.
I am not in Melrose this weekend so I'll check the HP when I get back but I think it is around 800 watts.
