Well as some of you may know I've been busy with moving, it's not easy putting 35 washers and dryers into storage then moving them into the new place. Most are still out in the carport. Got some strange looks from the neighbors moving them here. Anyway here's a little preview of the new laundry room, although they aren't all in their places yet. Hookups are finished for 13 washers.

A wash in

May now be a possibility someday soon. Since the kitchen was original 50's without a dishwasher I had to go looking for a portable and I found this one, a KA Electra top loader.
Yes, let's talk soon Greg!

Hi Eddy. Great collection and great pictures...after living here for 3 1/2 years, I still get strange looks when people see my garage door open.

Looks great Eddy

I spy the old hotpoint back there, but I'm still looking for those Kelvinators. Hey, post some more pictures if you get a chance, thanks. Take care and congratulations.

If you have too many machines, I'd be happy to take that pink GE off your hands, just let me know when I can come and pick it up.

Tell me about it!

At least you got to get your hook-ups done right away. I have an on-going project here.

Hope you enjoy your new place. All your pets look happy!

Best Wishes!
Steve

All the machines look great Eddie! I love the original tile on the floor - very classy.

Glad to hear the move is progressing. It certainly is nice to have something familiar set up in a new place - even if it is only 35 washing machines :)

the first picture took my breath away, AND among other thing

am not ashamed to admit it. Your Speed Queen collection is breath-taking. Hoping to appear not too stupid, since I took piano lessons during 6th grade geography and forget where B.C.is , I live 10 minutes away from Ontario, and having been a member only 2&1/2 years, I don't know where you moved from. Nevertheless, I am very happy to know you and now I GET YOU with your daily driving Maytag wringer. Mine is identical in black and green but square. I bet you recycle water. I spent part of the evening taking pix of the SQ with the Norge agitator and I got soaking wet and loved it. The whole basement got drenched, and it is my sincerest hope that the pix become amazing.

Like you and the great AWorg patriarch, Gyrafoam, I change washers with seasons, but there is always an automatic rapid-advancing, and a wringer wringing, and a Twin-tub spinning somewhere in my home. We need to come out of the closet about out love for washing machines, and celebrate what we're really here for, the neighbors be damned.
