Brian, those Kelvinators are still in the carport. They're coming in soon. Rich, I didn't forget the Sherwood Green Filtrator, it's on the other side.
You too Ben, Steve, Ross, Lawrence, Patrick, plan a trip to Vancouver sometime all you guys! The same for the newer members, don't hestiate to give me a shout.

hehehe

I bet .....that its incomprehensible to the normals when they see something like this. Its one thing to put washer after washer in your garage or basement over time but, to see them pulled out and moved must really make those guys scratch thier heads.

One wonders what Gladys would think.

ABNER!!!!!!

how cool are those.. go for it shock the neighbors i do all the time ha ha..some really cool machines there enjoy them

What a wonderful new home for your vintage washers! BTW, that KA Electra top-loader is to DIE for!!
The floor in the new room must be vintage - a very nice touch.
Good luck in the new home - your neighbors will have years' worth of stuff to gossip about!

Nice layout!

Hi Eddy,

Thanks for posting those pictures! I'm so glad you were able to move all 35 machines! Yes, I can just hear the neighbors comments "what on earth are they going to do with all those washers and dryers?" How was wiring and getting the water and drain lines installed? I'm sure it was a major task. I'm sure you've got excellent pipe fitting/installation and electrical wiring skills! I should know as we had all of our old lead water lines replaced with the newer copper for the entire house - including the line run from the street main to the water meter. That was a major undertaking - but since we had walls exposed for remodeling we decided to do it right the first time and be done with it. The water pressure is so the best now! You can run the dishwasher, and both of our SQ's at the same time with very little loss of pressure. I can only imagine the muscles you have now after moving all those machines - especially down the stairs!

Have a great 4th of July! - Mike

Beautiful Machines.

I just love that Electra Top Loading KitchenAid. That's one of my dream machines. Anyone in the Northeast area have one they would like to sell ???? The Speed Queens are to die for. Good Luck and be well Eddy. Eddie

Yay Eddy, a big congrats to both you and Rob on your new home, I can't wait to come back to Vancouver and see it sometime.

Love the knotty Pine!

Eddy the cousins are screaming at me to get my butt out there for a visit. So warm up the dryers and lets fill those tubs!

Congratulations on your new home! The "normals" need a wake up call, they consume too much whereas you have recycled life into these machines so new ones aren't needed!

cheers from one baement to another from me and artey!

Jon you're overdue

I'm revving up the machines! The Viking 6 vane agitator ANNIHILATES dirt. See pic below.
Mike, you mentioned running new copper lines in. Well we just had a burst line underground and had to replace a section already. I'm thinking of doing 3/4 copper in all the way.
Thanks to all for the kind remarks!

Viking Agitator

That Viking's agitator closely resembles an old Kenmore bake-lite straight vane agitator. Wonder if they use the same drive block.
