I'm an addict of this show

I really love the new Dr.Who, i thought the first new series with Christopher Eccleston was top class, especially when he meets Rose- "I'm the Dr by the way, whats your name? Rose, nice to meet you rose RUN FOR YOUR LIFE!"
The second new series with David Tennant was okay but i still thought the first was the best. Once Billie Piper left howver i lost intrest, she was a top class actress in this show.
BTW, you can watch episodes of this new dr who on youtube, just type it into the search field and see what it comes up with.
I have two models from the show, including a talking Tardis moneybox and a remote control Darlek that moves around just like the real thing, scares the dog to death!
Best Wishes To All
Matt

call me old fashioned but........

I prefer the older series of Doctor Who, it just seems more relevant to me than either of the new ones.
I liked Jon Pertwee the best followed by Colin Baker whom I thought was not given a fair go by the producers, I feel he could have rejuvenated the show, but that is showbiz I guess.
I really did not like the Daleks too much my favourite villains were the Cybermen and the Sontarans.
Oh!wouldn't you just die for the original sonic screwdriver??.
Cheers folks.
Steve.

oh the humanity

Thanks Mathew and Stephen for the input and Matt the artifacts are great.Over the years many very good actors have put their stamp on the character of THE DOCTOR.Peter Cushing read the part as if Shakespeare had it written just for him...he did every role that way, buy it was still fun.I think the scarf needs to make a come back...Yes Rose was a great character and will be missed, but that just opens the door for another interesting character. For all of you who don't get it...just think of the DALEKS as tacky semi automatic wringer washing machines that kill people with ray guns and can fly. Thanks so very much.
