"The water is heated not only with a conventional heating system, but new. With an energy-saving, highly efficient heat pump Much like a heat pump for a house. Depending on the selected washing temperature is the system even without connected conventional heating.

Operation
The Adora SLQ WP is how to operate the models without heat pump, very easy. How much energy will be saved, you decide for yourself, you have the possibility to choose between three different levels EcoHybrid. The preferred level, you can save such that it is used for each wash.

The good thing about the various stages
The Adora SLQ WP adapts to your wishes regarding energy conservation. The diagram explains the various EcoHybrid levels using a 60 - ° C program."

Dryer Translation....

"A convincing cleaning concept
Thanks to the great and smooth screen surface dust and lint are retained optimal - so your laundry soft and fluffy always remains. In addition, the new door filter can be cleaned easily and conveniently.

Secure system for long life
By Frontsieb ensures that even the finest particles remain and the heat pump system can maintain its high power constant. It can be cleaned with little effort.

Careful and gentle drying
In the large 7-kg Honeycomb drum, the laundry is gently moved and is thus pretty dry evenly. The textiles are less wrinkled and can be easily ironed. Another contributing factor in reversing the (mutually rotating) honeycomb drum, which can be set independently using the new ReversierenPlus."

Are English manuals online yet? When I read about the new line like a week ago, there was nothing. I think it works kinda similar to Bosch's heat-exchanger they use in their dishwashers - if I understood the patend information correctly. And before you ask... the detailed information regarding Zug's patend and how it works is in German. I might add the link later (am writing this from my phone).

Stunning appliances! But also with a high pricetag. The washer is 5930 Swiss francs, so around 4800 Euros or 6500 American dollars. The dryer is 4900 Swiss francs, 4000 Euros or 5400 American dollars. But for that money you get the latest technology. And no dumbing down of water temperatures ofcourse!

There is not only a heat pump in this machine, but also a regular heater. You can choose if you want to use one of them or both. Using the heat pump only is the most energy efficient, but I assume that takes longer. A pity the manual is not of the new model.

Every model in that line has a different display. The TOL SLQ and the SLQ WP have the multicolour touch display. I wish they had put the new manual online instead of the old one. I'm looking forward to read how the operation of the machine goes.

The new detergent dispenser looks good. But they don't explain much more than that it is easier to clean.

The new Adora with heat pump uses 55% less energy than the normal models.

Correction on the previous post: There are three choices for heating:

1. Only heat pump;
2. Mostly heat pump with help of a traditional heating element;
3. Half heat pump, half traditional heater.

Excellent machine! But...

...the heat pump heating function is just a little more than a gimmick! It will lessen the life expectancy of the machine (remember that sealed copper tubing under pressure and vibration and compressors don't fit well together!) and at current Italian electric prices (highest in Europe) the price difference between the "standard" model and this one will be filled in no less than 15.000 washes! Yup, 15.000! Assuming doing only 60°C washes of course. What machines does that many it its life? That is a wash a day for more than 41 years!

Love it

Love it, want it, got to have it, and will have it just have to wait till we do the refit I'm scared to even look at the price yet I'l save that till the morning

As much as I like it, I feel the brand isn't as well built as it seems.
I would expect to pay that much money and get a 20 year Guarantee (OK 10 would be all right), but only 2 year guarantee. Thats a right con, for something which possibly isn't going to last as long as a Miele.

Maybe there is a reason for only a 2 year guarantee, maybe if the parts fail, they are too expensive for VZug to pay for them if you report the fault at say 5 years old.

this is truely a step foreward

i couldn't believe my eyes when i first say this, through facebook about 2 weeks ago, it is simply outstanding achievement

the SLQ WP has
A+++ (-40%) that is actually equivlant to A -68% or nearly A+++++++

this is the first to have a colour touch screen, and the only model to come out with a full touch screen in years. (since the WA65205)

i can't wait to get the french instruction manual open, if it opens????
