Off topic i know, but i wanted to share this one. I have made a poem about a orca (killer whale). Hope you like it and dont forget the napkins. Its quite sad.

THE ORCA:

The orca is swimming in the ocean.

He is 3 years old

He throw himself up to the surface and lands in a deafening splash.

He is free.

He is chasing a fish.

His big heart beats.

The family is near him.

They swim together.

they have no time to look after.

They are free.

Suddenly the orca get caught in a net.

He cant swim from there.

The net is going up.

He is taken from his home.

The family calls him.

He is trying to calling back.

Its too late.

He is catched.

The travel is long.

The orca is afraid and sad.

No one is there to sooth him.

His big heart beats.

After a long time he sees water again.

Its a swimming pool.

He is swimming in it.

Its not big.

He is calling the family.

No one answers.

He gets food and is trained by a trainer.

He is trying to jump high but cant.

He is showing himself for the public though.

The applauds is thundering.

He just wants back to his family.

He must always do tricks same day same time.

Hours is turning to days. Days turning to weeks.

Weeks turns to months, Months to years.

People applauds.

His big heart beats.

He gets sick by the chlorine water.

No one notices.

He gets even sicker.

Neither the public or trainers notice.

He is their milkcow.

He is calling desperatly for help.

No one hears, No one is coming to his aid.

He is truly alone when he dies.

His big heart starts to slow down.

Down..

Down..

Suddenly he comes to the orca heaven.

His family is there.

They also got captured.

He is calling them.

Everyone answers.

He is happy to be in heaven.

The public is sorrowful.

Some investigastion shows his last hours was horrorful.

The public boycott the park.

Months later they have a new orca.

The public comes and cheers. No one remember the old one.

Some people may remember him and think:

They are just fishes, doesnt feel anything.

Notice: I got the inspiration to this story especially from the sad but uplifting thruth story about Keiko. I have also read about the poor orca Lolita that is still alive still but is vanishing. I think its a really good idea to free her.

Other than that i,m ashamed i have myself seen a orca show. In the show nobody told the Orca lives in packs and its a WHALE, not a fish. They are just as smart as dolphins, if not smarter.
