The other Kitchenaid was sold... What about this one?

Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support :

Also good machines, Imperials, I think. Do not pause to heat water, but heat throughout the cycle. $125 seems a little steep for such an old machine....these are over 20 years old. Good Hobart design!!

It gets

newer with each post! Looks like a KD23. The upper rack, white detergent and rinse aid dispensers bring the machine into the 90's.

My Amanda and her husband went up to Lansing tonight and got the model# 22. They are on their way back now. It looked like the Hobart design, so I told them to go get it.

It's the all black machine, with the black control panel. Got it for $95.00.

What is the best detergent to use in the Kitchenaid dishwashers? All opinions welcome. I do not know much about dishwashers, only that Kitchenaid by Hobart were among the best.

Thanks guys!

best detergent to use in the Kitchenaid dishwashers?

When I had a Kitchen-aid the detergent that I used was Cascade powder.I would use the Cascade Complete now but they did not have it then.

With KAid it doesn't much matter. I use Finnish in mine with excellent results and I have hard water here in Roanoke.

BTW, be sure to start "hoarding" that DW detergent as the f%#king government is forcing the removal of the phosphates.
The stuff won't be worth a s%*t without it.

I've been in the dollar store every chance I get buying up Finnish.
Be sure you check for phosphate content as there is already new stuff, without it, hitting the store shelves.

Both of these machines,,

are made by Whirlpool, not Hobart. I had the first one back in the 90's in a portable. It was awesome. It still had all the power and features of Hobart made machines. They are gonna love it.

Spits on top

The image of the first dishwasher shows a top rinse which would aid greatly in leaving the bottoms of the cups and glasses free of yibbles.

Rick

This almost looks like the one that I rescued off the street that had a FREE sign on it.
The model# of the one that I have is KUDJ230Y1.

It is in perfect condition.

Good Luck with it.

Not just that!

But the 23 series also used the Whirlpool Power Module pump in place of the Hobart designed 21-22 series pump with the true disposer in the bottom! That power module still did a great cleaning job, but just doesn't handle foodstuffs like the 21-22 pump does.

Well... It's installed in my sisters house and love it so far!
It replaced a 5-7 year old Kenmore...

It's a model 22 btw.
