Curious- if we could make the best washer today.
What would you use? I believe most parts are similar to one another they could be re engineered to make the best washer today.
First I would choose a whirlpool DD basket- I believe it’s bigger than Maytag.
use a kitchen aid lower fin and kenmore upper triple action agitator.
I would use a maytag dependable tranny and a brushless motor from one of the old whirlpool duet.
I chose the Maytag tranny because I think it would be easier to control the strokes and speed of the agitator and I would think I could achieve higher Rpms in a maytag than a whirlpool tranny.
I would also use a maytag suspension system- they have always had a smooth spin.
I’m at a lost for a timer- maybe switch over to a computer base?
I’m up for debate of what you guys would think would make the best machines.
Ps. Could anyone build one?!
