There do not appear to be any "mosaics" of any drive system in the patent application!

click on Description, Claims & Drawings, look at the Drawings pages 54 possibly two motors, 55 & 56 drum open closes linkages...wow thats some complex mechanism!!!

Also when you read the breakdown of parts and how it works, its very technical....in an age when we have perfected an inner / outer drum with motor underneath all worked by electronics....this seems more like a commercial machine!!!

Maybe I'm wrong... but IS THERE ANY REVERSE WASHING ACTION?!?!
It seems the drum rotates only one side to stay closed and otherside to open...

I was wondering about a shaft that goes "in and out", instead there's a more complicated system (easier to went broken!??!) of trasmission... Lee Maxwell machines seems to have less levers,gears,shafts, pulleys...

Ta very much for the link to the in-depth info. I had a quick look; I agree that it does look complex. I'll look closer in a day or two...

Hi Diomede, what a line...LOL....but true, It does seem very complex, I just hope it works!!! Interesting feature on the ballast tanks, could be "multiples" I would have three, one for clean water fill & rinses, one for re-usable wash water SudzSave, and the third for hot fill from solar powered or energy efficient water heating!!!

The Olympia machine looks a cross between a Miele & Asko, best of both worlds..IMHO. I`m sure it would do a reverse tumble, cant imagine 10kg of wet laundry going one way, would make for a very tangled mess on some loads!!!

Pretty odd mechanicals.

It looks as though there is a lot to go wrong in that drive linkage.

Notice too, the castor wheel method that allows the machine to sit firmly upon the floor when the ballast tanks are loaded with water. Could this be Dyson simplifying their 'trolley-jack' system as used on the Contrarotator?

And if that is a 10 kg machine why did they load it with only 5kg of towels? because they couldn't put anymore stuff in! That's false and misleading! I put more clothes in my front loader without reaching 5 kg that what the guy put in either of the washing machines in the video!

It gets more interesting!!!I wonder what Bosch will think of it!!! although an older model, (euro model perhaps) or even a mock up!!!

I like the point of talking over 7 yrs to diverse groups, universities, detergent manufacturers and such...!!! I do hope they worked with the end use, i.e. paying customers!!! have been asking around and either everyone is keeping schtum or no one I`ve asked knows anything about it!!!
