Next project after the Bendix is... The Savage Washer-Dryer  

 

For those collectors already out there, I found the current belt number for repair - 1926-1945 Savage took a Gates 2310 but that has been super-seeded by a 4L310. On order.

Yours makes the same sound as mine! I don't think now that it is a defect .
