the magger

wrings the t-shirts, 4 at a time, 8 at a time--it just doesn't care; in fact you can hear it squeak,"Bring it on, Baby!"

Awesome pictures, thanks for sharing! And I agree...that Surgilator tackles a big load like it's nothin'!

On your machine, do you have the winged or non-winged Super Surgilator?

MickeyD is dead posh!!!

He can afford Tommy Hilfiger towels!!! We can only manage IKEA or John Lewis lol! John Lewis similar to Sears!!!

Hi fellow washer men who love washers

do-dads--I'll do some close-ups for you on the next roll of film and copy the #

bearpete--you made me laugh hard. It's just a large face cloth, and I got it at TJ Max--a discount store. Funnier, I had to figure out what you were talking about--didn't see it

westy--it's the wingless one. I don't care for that winged monstrosity's tendency to impede turn-over

goldport--it's like the Kenmore visa-matic, probably came out at the same time--wonder who was 1st

hoove--just thought of you when a comment to Frigi came out funny on Beautiful Day thread. Go see

gdansk--finally! couldn't believe after the flick and the pix no one noticed. You're a sharpie. Guess when i took the lid off.

frigi--king of good will to all--what a gift to us, you christmas angel

Do-Dads: Here's the serial # for the golden boy--

LDA6900 10 Double cooldown in permanent press and one in the knits; 18 pound tub

Very interesting! I thought Whirlpool/Sears was the only one to offer the open top wringer. I've never seen this version of Norge wringer before.

Much as I like the Maytags, the open top wringers are really nice because it's so much easier to see what's going on and prevent any wringer hanky-panky.

LDA-6900

Thanks. I expected it'd be something like that. This is sort of an "added feature" model, a step up from the LDA-5800 by having the pushbutton temp selector instead of a rotary knob, and a MagicClean filter.

Wringer washer

Wow!!! I love these machines - that is real washing!!!!
It's breathtaking how they cope with these bulky items during wringing action!! Wow!!
