I have not been to an estate sale for a quite a while. There are so many here and I have been in a "clearing out" state. Today I stopped. I found the ONE vintage tv set on my wish list, a beautiful Zenith B2002J. I have slides of the my first Christmas (2-1/2 months old) at my Grandparents with this set in the background. Once at a sale I plugged an old set in and the pic went on and for a second to be followed by a lot of smoke. That is why I have not plugged this one in yet. I am sure it will need work but the cabinet is excellent. Even got the owners manual and dated literature! I know nothing about television repair so I will find a repair person to take this project over. Brought home a few other treasures too, but this was the grand prize! Any information (age, history, other) you television experts have would be very much appreciated! Oh, did I mention that it was 1/2 price day....it cost me $9.00!
