Great Idea!

Seems like a good idea to me. Though my only concern would be distinguishing between sales that would be posted in the "Imperial" section, and those that would belong in the "Deluxe" section. If we have those, then confusion (and frustration) will certainly be avoided.

I also agree with Launderess: If this is to be further pursued, then preserving photos of the machines in question will help for the archives. Otherwise, you will have an archive full of pointless threads/posts

SOLD

Perhaps when a member finds that an item for sale has ended or been sold, simply mark the thread as such and let it drift away to archive land.

OK I'll work on this soon. The most challenging part is the creation of the new forum graphics.

I have some ideas for the name of this forum, anyone care to share an idea for the Forum Name?

Macy's Is Still On Hearld Square

Though the area has changed much since Lucy and Ethel's day. Especially now that a pedestrian plaza has been set up on the Broadway side.

Gimbles, A&S along with a host of other businesses for that matter have long since gone. Indeed the "mall" building it became is a hot mess. There was talk awhile back of reopening the LIRR/Penn Station enterance that was part of the former Gimble's building which has long been sealed off, but nothing came of it so far.
