Gary would make a great salesman.

Gary could sell a Sub Zero and a 1000 poud ice machine/24 hrs to an eskimo!!! Toggles even made it!!! Hark, I see two or three Kenmo combos I've never seen panels of!!!

Phew... Made it back to Montreal, so here's more photos! Even when we weren't at the warehouse or Jeff and Cal's, washers were on the agenda! Kevin, Martin, Darren and I had to check out the laundry place just behind the motel where we were staying...

Travelled down on friday night with BrianL and Toggles, and one very tolerant ginger lad I am fond of. What a fun time! Soo great to finally meet so many folks from AW. Everyone was super nice; a great group of people. I wish I had had time to get to know more of you.

A super big thanks to our hosts and to all the helpers that made this an awesome event![this post was last edited: 10/11/2010-19:59]

Forget the people, post more washer pics! LOL just kidding, looked like a great time! As I said on the other post, someday I'll be able to attend a wash-in!

What a weekend!

Special thanks to everyone! Without exception, each in the group was fun and kind and charming!

It was amazing to see good long-time friends, to meet the real people behind the screen-names, and to connect with so many well-known AW peronalites! So many new and wonderful people as well.

I wanted to personally thank our hosts John & Smilty and Jeff & Cal for opening up their workspaces and their homes to all of us with open arms. This too goes for John (our other host) and everyone who had a hand (visibly and invisibly) in making this event R-O-C-K! Special regards to Mike and his crew in the kitchen who tirelessly and without complaint catered---well--how does one say this--[just say it MONA!]- their @$$e$ off! The tremendous time and effort and expense involved are really not conceivable until one sees the incredible spread of food and drink. We ate and drank like que---- er kings!

And you there... PSSSST... Terry L. and Gary W who quietly put on their aprons and best heels and were scrubbing and fixing and organizing in the kitchens I saw you! THANK YOU for all your did to serve us. Now I know I have missed acknowledging so many who did so much in so many ways, but you are all appreciated. Ever last damned one of youz, ok? LOL

I really dont know what to say but that I am still on a high at the amazing energy there. I think all of us wish we were able to converse more with each and every AW memeber in attendace and feel like we didn't pay enough attention to everyone!

I'm rambling (ya what else is new! LOL) But again WOO-HOO to a great time. And, of course, to great people.

And to my new buddy who delivered a washer to my door such that it was home before I was.. AFERIM! No one beats you guys NO ONE!

Yay we're home safe and sound. Fred and I had a fabulous time, a big thanks to John, Smitty, Jeff and Cal for this wonderful event. Also it was so great to meet people in person that we've talked to digitally for years!!!

Here are the best of our pictures, we arrived in DC and rented this fabulous car...

A group of us went to DC on Saturday, to view some fabulous exhibits at the National Building Museum... outside, they had cool workshops going for kids -- how things are built. Very hands-on. Here they're demonstrating how to build a brick wall. Nice to see tax-dollars at work. :-)
