I am so glad that we have out country back. On what we have kind of shifted to in this thread, I had to do alot of Thoerpy to undo all of the bad things that I had done to me growing up, esp by my dad. Now that I am 35 and over alot of what happened, my dad called me from Texas, where he lives, and wanted to be part of my life; I just did not want that.I love my dad, but, he has alot of stuff that he has to work out and figure out who he is, like I had to do becuase he was not a dad. I am best friends with my mom, which also took alot of work over a long peroid of time. Now becuase of all the work that I have done, life goes alot smoother. I am no longer stuck.

When it comes to my father, I know that it is good to forgive, and I think I may have actually forgiven him, but I cannot forget, and for that reason, we must continue to remain apart.

Like other posters have shared, I'm VERY tight with my mom, and it helps the situation that she divorced my father many years ago.

For me, things really have gotten better over time, although the holidays are always a mixed blessing, it seems...and I'm sure many of us have found that you DO get to pick your family, after all, whether they are blood relations or not!

Impeach the N.S.W State Government!!

Any possibility that the new Congress could impeach the New South Wales State Government?,if you guys think the Bush Government is bad try living in this state which has an alledged government which is the absolute worst I can ever remember.
Alas we are stuck with them until March 24 next year, the date of our state election hmmmm if only Her Excellency, the State Governor would just dismiss the lot of them now.
Oh well roll on March 24.
