Now at this point, I had a fall. Camera in one hand, tools in the other, climbing OVER and UP and DOWN and THRU stacks and stacks, I fell and dropped the camera. I was in about 2 feet of mud and the lens got splashed, but I didnt realize it until I got home and looked at the pics. Of course, the smudge HAD to be right in the middle of the lens! Here, going up to the upper 40 acres, was a Hotpoint Top........
50's RCA Whirlpool dryer! Now here is one of the dilemmas of this yard. There is a lot of neat good stuff, but a LOT of it is land locked. Items are in the middle of piles, in stacks, etc. Rich and I dug some things out, but items like this dryer take a great deal of work just digging out to take home. Its also the reason why you need at least a couple of guys to scour a yard with, one person just cant get this stuff by himself! Rich and I will be bringing a couple of our buddies with us on our next trip!
Tipped it back so I could see its works, this washer has been here a long time.......This is one of the washers that was a difficult excavation. Even tho its pretty rough, this will be one of the dig outs on our next trip......I dont think its going anywhere soon!
