those are cooooool, I wouldn't remove them, just repair if needed/possible.

I will tell you why!

They are taking them out....Young wife to Husband.."OHHHH those are so old..I want new stainless!...Dumb young educated idiot husband with no common sense to wife.." Oh yes, we must get rid of those, they cant be any good..they are OLD!" ....Its a shame but very few of our so called educated smart people has one lick of common sense, another example, young dummy looking at a beautiful vinyl tile floor..."Ohhh we must take it up..its got asbestos in it!"

Look closely

At those cabinets, they have inset doors! It costs a FORTUNE to have those made nowdays!

And those inset cabinets are made of REAL wood-NOT particleboard-the young dummies will rip these out and put in the vinyl laminate particleboard-then say--"That looks SO much better"Matches our craptastic new appliances perfectly!"
