to all...
Yes...the thermomix is sold on fairs and on home presantation. But why? First: i agree that DTD sales must be improved in USA. Its not fair that such a good appliance is rare in that country. And why we cant put it in the store is becaouse TM is not just a blender, and cant be compared with it. Even not with Cuisinart blender that also heat, becaouse TM have speed control from 100 rpm-12000 rpm...and stir function about 40-50 rpm. Which blender can do this? And on the pictures under the text you can see the blender knive and jar and the tm knife and jar. The tm knife is created very specificaly... that it can mix,chop,grind,pulverise,puree,whip,knead,stir... and the knife is put into the jar that all the food come to to the rotating knife as soon as possible and evenly. I cant imagine choping the onion with classic blender.Or kneading a heavy dough. And the point is that he can do soooooo many things tha t we cant just put all the instruction in one users manual and say: this is it, now use it! Its impossible. Thats why i show to the owners some extras...tips, tricks. Becaouse the more they know about their tm, the more they will use it and with more happiness.
Just for information... I became TM teacher just becaouse of joy cooking with him. Before that i was just one of the thousands of owners ;-) but i was experimenting and try everything what i can ;-)
And i dont know anymore the words : burn,overcook,watery,tastless...
And about the price... Vorwerk is known for many years as high quality brand that produce vaccum cleaners, thermomixes, carpets and kitchens. And ofcourse they are known by the very high price. But i can personaly say that everything what we have from VW works as new... The vaccum is more than 25 years old... no service...
And every customer that have something form VW say that its really expensive but worth every cent thrue the years of use. And i cant forget the old lady, when she say: Once a vorwerk, always a vorwerk.
Have fun quys! ;-)
