Hi, guys!
I am guessing a thread like this has appeared before, but in case it hasn’t, have any of you noticed how some household products – for example, bath oils, soaps, shampoo, etc. – smell almost identical to laundry products? I know that may sound like an obvious question, especially as most products are perfumed anyway.
I know many of us do perhaps recognise a particular, non-laundry, product smells just like a laundry product!
As an example, having not noticed this before because 99% of my stuff is unperfumed, I have a bath oil on prescription (for eczema) called Aveeno. When I first used it a few weeks ago, despite being unperfumed, it smelt just like Persil non-biological powder from the 1980s to me! It was great!
Bathing in Persil powder!
This oil contains a mixture of natural and synthetic ingredients, namely shea butter and oatmeal, amongst others.
I just thought I would put this up in case anyone else has any nice – or nasty! – experiences of household products smelling just like laundry products, and whether they actually like it.
