In one's 20's this meant you partied all night, showered, and went to work on three hours of sleep. No one could tell you were somewhat drained and tired.
In one's 40's it means you are in bed, tucked-in by 11pm the latest, and you get up a few times during the night to drain the one-eyed lizzard and the bladder.
