Help Support :

What a jerk. It's like he thinks he paid for something... this site is free for everyone and it certainly isn't your responsibility to even acknowledge him. I'd probably just end up marking his e-mail as spam, but really it's kind of entertaining and it would be a shame to miss out on the laughs!

You could always respond with a link to this thread.

Even though they have probably seen this thread by now, some people are just too stupid to understand that they are being ridiculed. Ignore the idiots!

The latest response

NO I AM WILL NOT POST ON A DISCUSSION OR MESSAGE BOARD.
DO NOT SEND ME SUCH A REPLY!!

I am in Delaware and purchased a vacant 1936 house that I
am restoring and in it is a Bendix Automatic Home Laundry System Machine.
Is there anyone that can restore this to working order?
I am NOT interested in getting involved with message boards, so
that is not an answer. Provide me with the answer to the
question as asked. Message board is not the answer, NO mesage board, NO discussion board either, all the same. Thank you

uh huh, i guess I will have to tell them about our discussion forum lol.

My reply:

you could try our message board at www.automaticwasher.org, you might get some help there.

Thank you.

Yay, don't f&^k with mother webmaster.

People like this...

are a lot of what's wrong with our country today... No common courtesy and when they don't get what they want, and get it instantly, the anger flows...

It is hillarious to keep up with the latest, thanks for posting it Robert.

Is there a way to rig your computer so that this idiot gets a 240v electric shock when he opens your response? It sounds like that's the only way this idiot is going to learn.

Are you sure that this isn't "The Exploder" rattling your cage?

What happened with the exploder?

I can understand why some people may not be interested in message boards, but it is not like you are requiring someone to be best friends with a group of people. I have often joined message boards to find the information I want and then that is it.

I would ignore it that often works best.

~I suggest the emailer choke a chicken, wave it over their head.

Oh honey if he can choke the chicken and wave it over his head, he can make ton of money in front of a camera and fly Dr. Manny in from AZ to fix the Bendix.

Organ music up

YOU ARE AN IDIOT WITHOUT A DOUBT. I WANT TO SPEAK TO SOMEONE ELSE
WITH A BRAIN IN THERE HEAD.

CAN'T YOU READ, NO I AM WILL NOT POST ON A DISCUSSION OR MESSAGE BOARD.
>DO NOT SEND ME SUCH A REPLY!!

OR DO YOU NEED GLASSES? THIS REPLY IS OF NO HELP!!!!!!!!
I AM NOT POSTING TO A MESSGAE BOARD OR A DISCUSSION BOARD AND
I WILL CONTINUE TO FILL YOU BOX UP UNTIL I GET ANSWERS AS ASKED.

LOL, now its time for my final response, but I wont post it here, a girl doesn't use that kind of language normally.

Amazing to have to put up with such assholes in life.
It's just way to short to spend time dealing with this.
I'd block this guy and let him irritate someone else and shorten their life through his stressful behavior.
He's a carrier that just dumps on others.
Move on!!
It's just not worth it!!

Cheers.

You Know, It Occurs to Me...

...That there's another way to go on this:

"Hello:

I'm sorry you don't like discussion groups, because that will be a severe problem as you get involved with vintage appliances. You see, there is no "Resource Central" for appliances whose parts have been discontinued for decades; you have to network with other people if you're going to get a vintage appliance restored at all. Tracking down just one vintage part may take recommendations from several people, then emailing, writing or calling the resources they tell you about. Once you have the part, installing it may be a real problem, because you're dealing with appliances that may have years of corrosion or abuse affecting them. Every time you try to correct one problem, another one seems to crop up - and that's when you need a group of people to turn to, because nearly every problem you might encounter, someone has dealt with.

If you don't care for the sociability and free exchange of discussion boards, then vintage appliances may not be a good bet for you, no matter how "cool" they seem to be and no matter how much money you're willing to spend on them. Vintage appliances are not like new ones; there's always something to repair, find or replace. You will need the advice and friendship of other vintage appliance owners on a nearly constant basis, and if you don't like asking for that, then my advice to you is to get high-quality new appliances and forget about vintage.

If you are looking for a one-stop solution for vintage appliance repair, it does not exist. AW.org exists to gather the most important resource - the knowledge and friendship of hundreds of members - together, but you have to interact with the group to take advantage of it.

I'm sorry not to have better news for you, and I wish you the best of luck with your Bendix, because those are machines that require lots of time and expertise to put back in shape."
