I think he needs to fix something more than his broken Bendix, so I would refer him to the Psych Ward at a nice Delaware hospital that would fit him with a lovely canvas blazer with wrap-around arms, and then to a grammar and spelling coach, and when all that shit gets fixed, he might be able to deal with restoring an ancient appliance, but I don't think so.

I really think you should report that email to his ISP as Internet Harrassment and spam. They may ask for more information, but if they're responsible, I bet they shut his email down (he who laughs last...)! That is, if he doesn't exceed his quota of incoming mail with "the band" sending him all kinds of LARGE picture files (from Yahoo or Mail.com email accounts, of course!!!).
