Little did I know...
It has a secret door. Well, not secret. But still fun! Although I needed another hand mixer like a hole in the head (my Secret Santa set me up with a beauty this last Christmas) I had to have it.

That's a Ham Beach. They made the same mixer for Sears with different graphics on the door.

Great find Dan! I actually really liked the hand mixers with the wall hanging cabinet. I have another style of HB portable with a 14 speed rotating dial. Mine doesn't have a cabinet, but I've also seen that model that did have one.
Anybody know what year(s) it's from? I'd guess the early 70's

Looks like the Sears mixer my mom had when I was a kid. The Sears version had a variable speed knob.
An added bonus
Picked up this Universal hand mixer a few years ago at a Tag Sale for $1.00. It came with the standard beaters, and, the plastic-coated ones too. Could this have possibly been for doing tasks like mashed potatoes in non-stick cookware?

Hamilton Beach offered another wall-mounted variation, one with their electric knife.
Gary, yes, using the covered beaters in Teflon was the concept. Early Teflon scratched if you looked at it wrong.

Dan, I just picked up a similar mixer at a local thrift store but the door on mine is fake woodgrain instead of that "Partridge Family" motif on yours. Did you get the mounting bracket too? It was missing from mine but I think I can mount the thing without it. What I'd really like to find is one of those 60's "Jane Jetson" GE hand-held mixers, but this one will do in the meantime.
