Good things are not only found in (the state of) Connecticut.
Took GadgetGary of a tour of "the 'hood", where I took him to an old haunt of mine............

The Gasget and I spotted this toy at the same time and made a beeline (sp?) for it.

"AS-IS"
$19.99
Blue tag.

Well a huge sign said blue tags were 50% off that day.

The excitement level was building!

It sure was "purty" on the inside; and based on two water hoses and a power cord, we were on the right track!

(The grey hose is a replacement hose, but you get the idea.)

The original hose has the end broken off, so we had surmised this was the reason why this appliance was kicked to the curb.

(Threaded end screws to water-inlet valve of machine).

We took this piece of blue, dark, rigid plastic off the door, only to reveal a better view of the water-works inside!

And it's designer, no less!

Yes it is a DANBY brand coutertop dishwasher!

I mean WHO could resist at $20, being 8.33% of the MSRP of $240! Then take half off of the $20!

Door, inner view

Pre-wash detergent goes into oval indentation. Second wash goes into mini-dispenser.

There is even a rinse-aid dispenser with a large reservoir.

Controls

Pre-wash is a "Rinse & Hold" does not advance into cycle/programme.

W-W-R-R is the "Normal" cycle.
W-R-R is the "Short" cycle.

First wash is heated when "Sani-wash" is engaged; not heated in "Econo". The final rinse is heated always to help the drying process.

Used it? I don't think I've ever done so many loads in two days!

First we scrubbed it to within an inch of its life.
Then loaded her up with chemicals.

Now to show you the removal of the dark blue outer window cover. BOO, HISS, MOAN to obstructing the view!

Those seven visible tabs hold the blue outer window in place. Front of door is down. Inside of exterior door cover is shown up.

Maiden load.

All we needed was to replace the fill hose with a washing machine hose. The uni-coupler had broken and did not come with it.

Loading her takes a few attempts to get the hang of it!

The silverware basket was missing too!
