Yes you read that right. Tide is now being sold at the Dollar Tree. Am I the only one, actually shocked by this?

Smart Merchandising move by P&G
This is a smart move on P&G's part. You introduce the product to your target market at retail store geared to them in a very inexpensive sampling size.
The customer tries the product , likes it and has to buy the standard size bottle at a regular location ( Walmart ) .

Jury is back and the results
I bought the small sample bottle of Tide's Simply clean and fresh
at the Dollar Store to try out in the LG front loader.
*I did not use the recommended dose of to the top line, I used 1/2
of cap full at the most.*
Scent- is a bit strong(I like it actually)
Suds- It did produce a fair amount of soap suds, but did not die down alot.
Cleaning-I thought it did good, for only light soil load(short sleeve dress shirts)
Rinsing- Did 3 rinses, there was a few suds still floating around in last rinse.
After drying- scent was still present but not quite as strong, which I thought smelled nice.
Over all-Definitely for Non HE machines, and only good for very light soils and remove odors. If it had a true HE version, I'd buy it, Till that happens, I will shy away from it for HE machines.

Used it a few times in my Miele
Cleaned and rinsed well enough with no suds issues; just couldn't get over the bug spray like fragrance. Gifted the nearly full bottle away and the recipient seems happy enough.
