Tide X2 Liquid

Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support :

I'm over my fascination with Mexican, British and German detergents and have been buying liquid TideX2 with Bleach Alternative in both the HE and regular versions.

I've been very disciplined about using less, which required some diligence at first. Now I'm used to doling out a smaller amount and have adjusted to the new formula.

I find both versions clean very well, but have yet to conduct one of my not-quite-scientific stain tests to compare X2's performance against older Tide formulas, most of which I still have in stock.

While I still have some residual suds with the HE version, I've found the regular version to be quite clean-rinsing in my Frigidaire TL'er. My water is very soft.

Yikes:

I can hardly believe what I see on that message board. Either P & G is going to some lengths to maintain a completely open forum, or somebody just isn't reading what's being said. The comments are almost uniformly strong negatives. Most companies would have cleaned all that up or closed the forum, or something.

I'd like to think that someone at P & G is reading all that, taking it to heart, and working on solutions to the problems that are being complained about.

I got into that message board....I was surprised at what alot of them were saying...but there are alot of ignorant people out there. If they dont like something then maybe they shouldnt fret and buy something else. I left a message where if they dont care for the liquid then go back to the powder version. My fave is still the Tide Original scent HE...I use that and Downy April Fresh softener and the scent together to me is heaven. The new 2x liquid has alot ot be desired in the scent department...to me I will have to agree it does stink and the HE version suds up like mad in my Miele. It does OK in the Maytag Neppy but I think the suds has to do with the Honeycomb drum design in the Miele.

Who let the illiterate people onto the Tide site???
