Bump.............

(Wanna post a pic, before it's too late.......later today hopefully)

And yes I agree, running a dissasembled vacuum in the dishwasher... A very odd thing to clean in a dishwasher!

I don't think it is that weird

I have washed a toaster, a coffee maker, an electric water kettle and an electric waffle iron in the dishwasher and had good results...

Here it is folks!

Umm... does THIS qualify as a "Bob load"?

This is 56 - 9" dinner plates, 48 in the lower rack and 8 in the upper racks, in the Kitchenaid KDA-5 portable.    I washed them all, like this, prior to the Spring Wash-In just over three weeks ago.   When they were "party dirty" they weren't packed in quite like this as there other dishes in there too.... but hey.

Wanted to share.

Great pics guys, I sure miss using my dishwashers. My one roommate doesn't believe in using the dishwashers, she says they use too much water and electricity and every time I load something in them she turns around the next morning and washes them by hand, she's a 70 year old woman. I've tried to explain that they don't use that much water, but it ends starting a argument, so I finally gave up. I run them once a month dishes or no dishes.
