Hey all,
So a while back I posted about the Avocado GE Dispensall with the nasty leak issues, etc. The leaks are all gone which is awesome but, of course, there's always something else. During my tour of this machine I decided to replace the timer knob which had worn out. Silly me unfastened the timer from the panel and allowed it to pretty much fall apart spilling the timer contacts. I replaced it as best as possible but the timer seems to short out now. It will fill and spin fine but when it's time to agitate it shorts out.
I am definitely not a timer expert and not sure what to do at this point. I am unable to find a new timer so I'm thinking maybe I should just send it off to someone who repairs these things. I would love suggestions on what to do and who to send it to if anyone knows anything about this stuff.
The machine was manufactured December, 1977.
Thank you so much!
