Didn't find anything vacuum related but I collect all small appliances with gusto.
I was delighted to find this Proctor Silex Mary Proctor toaster oven / pop up toaster at the Goodwill. Even more delighted when I looked closely at it and saw that it had never been used, always a bonus. I have a harvest gold one already that is used, they were sold in the 60's and 70's. These are back on the market again rebadged as the Hamilton Beach Toastation. This one will remain unused.

Nextly I had been waiting indeterminately long for a decent piece of unsoiled Corning Ware to show up and patience paid off with this lovely casserole. Here it sits on top of the Corning Ware Electromatic Skillet. Anything with the name omatic in it you just know has to be great!!!!

Pete, congratulations on your finds. I have found some nice, but slightly used pieces of Corning Ware and just put them through the self-cleaning cycle in the oven and they come out fine, if they have not been abused.

"Pete, you're going to love that Electromatic skillet!"

If you have the pan with the ground flat base that fits on it you will, otherwise it's not the same. If you have some metal cookware with a VERY flat base, like some of the Cuisinart lines, it will make contact with the heater surface of the Electromatic base and heat pretty efficiently, but the temperatures will not be exactly true to the settings because the heat is passing from one material to a different one, not from Pyroceram to Pyroceram. The sensors actually measure the temperature of the heating surface and that works because with the ground smooth surface of both parts, they heat as one.
