I'll be offline for a while due to the hurricane comin. Yep, another one. I'm going out west to evacuate so I'll see you guys later, that's if there's still a New Orleans left.

Locking up
Jason, we are securing everything and heading to Houston. I am not accustomed to leaving for a hurricane, but this one looks a bit scary. Preparing for the worst, but hoping for the best. Call me once this is all over so that we can do some laundry! Good luck, Arthur.

Here's hoping all our friends and family in the path of Ivan stay safe!

Change of plans
The interstate is a gridlock; our city needs 72 hours to evacuate and they only gave us a 36 hour notice; therefore, chaos has arisen. Gary and I have secured everything and have decided to ride it out here. Our home has withstood worse ... besides, I need to keep an eye on my washers! May be out of communication ... we usually lose power quickly here. Todd

Jason, go stay with Todd or someone else if you need to. I know you live in a moble home.
My best wishes is that it breaks up, and does nothing! So far however this thing is a monster!

We're gonna ride out the storm here. It shouldn't be too bad since the eye is going to pass in Mobile. We're on the "good" side of the 'cane.
If everything's fine for saturday, Todd, I'll give u a call.
Next Saturday, Sept. 24th, I get to go see my girl in Massachusetts. :-D Long distance relationships, gotta love it.
