Next to TOL mechanical washer. The TOL would have 4 speed combinations, not two.
That's a lotta switches.
That's the black console version of the monochrome white washer my mom got at Circuit City.

Thats not TOL for its time. That one is near TL. 9904 was TOL. Actually there was a model (or 2) in the middle .

There were 3 TOL touch pad models:
First Gen: A9900 (Black face console/touch pad, small tub opening and tub cover going back to 1956. Standard water valve).
Second Gen: LAT9900 (Black face console/touch pad, larger tub opening, updated tub cover, and sophisticated water valve).
Third Gen: LAT9904 (White face console/touch pad with continued updates as above).
The TOL touch pad washer for this generation was the LAT9900, not the LAT9904 that came later.

You are correct that this machine appears to be a 9804. However 9904 was TOL at this time. 9900 went away after 93’. I had 2 sets of 9904’s. Ironically they came out in 94’.
