You had best search for some parts---------
because you will need them! And a repair manual so you can work on it when it needs repair, because, the people who used to work on them are in a nursing home or cemetery. Today's appliance repair people are clueless.
Anyway, I agree, I would look for a low-mileage Kitchen Aid. Idiots who don't know any better are always "remodeling" the house they bought from a little old lady, who only used her Kitchen Aid to store flour and cereal in.
