Cycle: Heavy
Load size: Super
Temperature: Cold
Additives used: Tide Odor Rescue, Downy April Fresh softener, and Downy Fresh Protect scent beads.

Its The New Way Of Doing Laundry

If you can't get things clean the old fashioned way you just put them through the washer and dryer in cold water and try to make them smell nice, LOL

Hot wash?

Ditch the scented beads and instead add 1/2 cup baking soda. Today's ~hot~ setting isn't going to harm your clothes.

we wash most of our clothes on the warm setting, and towels are always hot. leaves them smelling fresh without the scent of mildew or detergent.

How did the GE perform?

We’ve had it for the past four years and I have to say it has been pretty decent. Is it perfect? No, than yet again what appliance is nowadays. Your only option is to purchase something vintage if you want quality.
