Well, I hope none of you are giving any money to, or attending churches, then. Religion is at the core of the whole anti-gay problem!
Brant, there is something about this interest that almost every member has reported and that is that the interest has been life-long, like from earliest childhood there are memories of appliances, usually washing machines. Sometimes it stays limited to washers. With other members, the interest widens to include many other appliances even HVAC equipment and electronics like radios, television and recording and play back technology. Then there are smaller electric appliances with vacuum cleaners, mixers and coffee makers, especially vacuum cofffee makers heading the list. I have always been told Amway is a Cult that is why I never have bought anything from them.I have heard that quite a few times its not as bad as well some of the Famous ones we hear about every day I don't want to name names cause they LOVE TO SUE EVERYBODY but I have heard that your life becomes Amway once you join.I have been told there dish detergent is pretty good though but $$$$$$

firm evidence substantiating the theory we are born gay. There is quite a bit of statistically relevant data supporting the notion that, in many ways, we have the best (and certainly the worst) of both male and female brain structures.
It makes sense to me that we would be interested in preserving and restoring machines, in all high-order mammals, the gays in the species are the ones who contribute to preserving the group.
It is a pity that the Christian church is so evil. If only they hadn't left the lions out overnight we'd have been long since rid of this hateful sect. I know that there are Christians out there who are good people, but they are good despite their evil, twisted, hate-filled religion, not because of it.
Personally, once I know that a company or person is attacking me because of my sexuality, I will fight them with every legal tool at my disposal. Since corporations only care about making money, that is the way to attack them. Best case, they change policies, second best case the bastards go bankrupt.

Cadillac / Gay friendly?
True story. I was driven to the Cadillac dealer after having my car creamed in an accident. Not in a good mood. My partner and I walked onto the lot and within a very short time the outdoor music system changed mid-song from standard background music to PRISCILLA!
We both laughed! We assumed it was unintentional... or was it??
We bought the Cadillac and were treated like kings through the entire process.

Federal Employees Domestic Partner Benefits?
So far, Federal Goverment Employees do not have domestic partner benefits. There was a bill introduced by Joe Liberman in December, 2007, and earlier in 2002 that went nowhere.
When the Federal Govenment extends domestic partner benefits to it's employees, it will make it almost Unconstitutional for any company to deny those benifits it gives to married couples. It will become like the equal opportunity laws. The US government will not do business with companies that do not follow equal opportunity laws and hopefully soon will not do business with companies that do not support domestic partner laws. Once adopted by the Feds, it pretty much is in the Constitution as a statute. Many State and local governments do have domestic partner benifits, and this is a case where we need the long arm of the law to protect citizens in all states,like equal rights. The city of San Francisco workers work for the government, the city of Dallas workers work for the government ,in a different state. It is insane that they have different domestic partner benefit policies. Texas cant decide to eliminate airbags and seatbelts from the vehicles sold there or to re-enact slavery. Federal Laws prohibit it.

Regarding the issue of benefits for partners, why do we not just have national health care, as proposed by Dennis Kucinich and is that way in every other country on Earth, rather than have to worry about who to work for to get benefits? I have heard of people who don't particularly like each other get married for the health insurance. How did we ever get like this? Hillary and Obama propose that people not insured through their companies can get the same plan Members of Congress have. But if no domestic partner benefits, is that really an improvement? I will, in fact, soon be uninsured as my job no longer offers benefits but that would not happen if I had a Wife so I could sponge off her benefits. The only thing left for me to do is spend down all my savings and go on Medicaid.
Oh, and as for Texas, I think some day they may secede from the United States - It seems to be a very conservative and not very understanding place. I understand that they are not the same electric grid as the rest of the nation so why should they share anything else?

Over the past 10 years, Exxon has been closing down retail outlets every year. For every 10 they close only 1 new one opens. Why is this? ExxonMobil has stated many times that they do not want to be the Number 1 retailer of gasoline. Retail sales only contribute a small amount to their bottom line. So where does ExxonMobil make it's money?
In sale of chemicals to other companies, that's where. It's a laundry list (so to speak) of other companies. Boeing, GM, Ford, Chrysler, Revlon, Maybeliene, many toy companies, etc. all buy things like petro based chemicals to use in other products. The only place ExxonMobil is huge is in the airline aviation fuel supply arena. And that division is London based. And the customer has almost no control over that.
So you have a company that declares it's profits in the billions of dollars every year and do you think they care about any group boycotting them?
If you ask anyone at Exxon about the Valdez incident, they'll tell you that THEY were the victim of that incident due to the massive fines and local supply fees they had to pay to recover the area from the oil spill.
ExxonMobil has set themselves up pretty much to be buy out proof, boycott proof and they'll pay megabucks to ensure that they get positive publicity at all times. One of the ways they do this is by making massive multi million dollar donations to things like the United Way, of which both the local AIDS Foundation and the Boy Scouts are members of. Strange bedfellows, eh?
