Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

I would go with the LG branded "Sears Kenmore" model

I like the fact that Sears can diagnose a problem over the phone before a tech has to come out, besides Sears will replace anything. I would def. consider getting the Kenmore branded LG unit, it is probably cheaper than the LG unit itself, and is essentially the same washer. They LG, are also making the new GE, Samsung units as well.

If LG is so bad then why are their washers and dryers rated the best for overall service calls???? I have the recent report via CR and the LG washers and gas and electric dryers got the number one rating in frequency of repair.AND the Whirlpool Calipso washers were renamed the Collapso by most owners and service techs because they were constantly breaking down to the point of a serious law suite being filed causing Whirlpool to discontinue them.In about 80% of the service calls,we at HD received, the problems stemmed from the owners not following simple directions that come with every LG product. One of the reasons Sears has LG making their appliances is because of their reliability and another being price. After having so many issues with recalls on Whirlpool washers, microwave ovens, refrigerators and ranges,Sears decided to go "outside the box" for someone else to make their refrigerators, washers, dryers and otr microwave ovens. Electrolux also being another maker of them.

Most Whirlpool appliances are painted and their cabinet so thin that, if you live in a warm climate and have your laundry room outside, they rust like tin cans.Their refrigeration products do the same.Plastic parts???!!! The DDs are almost all plastic except their inner tubs and gears in the trans. The new ones are even more severe. When the Cabrios first came out, there were many failing control boards and quite a few recalls because of that. Some being D.O.A. like the Maytag Neptunes were.If the Cabrios are so great, why can't they give the same warranty coverage as LG(10 years) on the motors????

Yes. I like them because I have had great experiences with their performance, features, durability and design. They're like laundry robots and because of their electronic programming set up joining the motor with the timer in a way I've never seen before, they can wash just about anything with superb results.I've seen different models on sale at Sears, Home Depot and Best Buy.I'd recommend Sears or Home Depot because they have some great rebates going on now.
