in a pinch you could try and have a body shop mix something up by trying to match as they mix or if you just have some chips or nicks you can try mixing your own using nail polish..it sounds odd but in a pinch it works
 
You can also take the lid off and bring it to a paint store that can do a color match right there. I have had good luck with this at Home Depot but probably any good quality paint store can do it. Good Luck - Patrick
 
For patching on porcelain, I have had a paint store mix the color into a quart of oil-based porch and floor enamel (high gloss) and it comes out beautifully and it is a little more durable with a very high bonding quality than other types. My paint professional suggested it and I've had it done several times. You can remove the lid of the washer to have it matched from that.
