Hey Brad good to hear from you again! Yes I do like this machine quite a bit so far. It's not a perfect machine, and nowhere near as nice as yours, but it works great. I need a drain hose and a belt really, but both still are holding up. It has been used, but indoors and kept up well. The rollers are in great shape on it too as they were (according to the owner) always stored with the release off. I also have a galvanized (1) stand up rinse tub on casters that came with it. Even my quirky roomie likes it, but I have tried to show him the proper way to use the wringer. My great grandmother had this same machine when I was growing up and I was always fascinated by it, there was always a ot of caution towards the wringer and I was never allowed to use the machine by myself under her watch. It brings back a lot of memories for me, the smell of bleach wafting through the house on wash day and the rows of clothes being hung up out behind the house afterwards. I would get to take the clothes that had been rung and put them in the rinse tubs out back. It's very hard to find anything older in good shape here, I'm starting to think people in these parts take care of nothing. If it's been around for 60 years, then it's done just that; been around for 60 years on its own accord. I think I lucked out on this one, a few scratches but in great shape. I think I'll get some video and pics and make a post separate just for it.
