Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support AutomaticWasher.org:

GE DW 6 years old but

... "only used 3 years" ?

Its part of a group of 4 white GE appliances that, along with the cheap kitchen cabinets, looks like a BUILDERS PACKAGE. (Thank-you Tolivac)

Where did 3 years of use go? Is that the time this model home sat vacant during the credit crisis? Was this a foreclosure?

And now, you can buy the whole group for $700. hmmm.

scary looking stove and dw

I don't know if I would want this stove looking up at me with its control knobs that look like googlee eyes of a monster. Oh well its innocent.

no lights, no clock, no window, probably one oven rack.

There is also another GE dishwasher.

Good prices.

Kenmore 1979 Steam cleaner Shag carpet to clean ?

Oh My !

This was the BOL steam cleaner that Sears offered to clean the mounting piles of shag carpeting that was smothering our country in 1979.
It had the least powerful vacuum motor and did not have the water tank to pour

water into (which also would have had a pump to pump the water to the nozzle, and possibly a heater to heat the water) instead one simply received a 50' roll of tubing to connect to your sink.

You also got cheap plastic wands and the smaller, thinner floor tool.

Starting bid is $7 Illinois.

With an upholstery tool, these make great for cleaning car upholstery and carpet.

hmm. interesting washer $50 New York

We don't get to see any pics of the entire washer, instead, just the underside of the lid will suffice.
oh, and...

It's broken. It washes, but it doesn't spin.

And,
they want money for it. those damn New Yorkers.

Not smart enough, or energetic enough to fix. not going to spend any money for a service call. nope.

But, we just can't let it go for less than $50

this is as basic as a European dishwasher can get, this Turkish Arcelik dishwasher has only 2 programmes and are similar 1's in Turkey that are like that, even 1 from Bosch. :)

Its CUTE !

How wide is it?

Is that the typical width of DWs there?

It seems like the timers are usually on the left side of the panel?

It looks like a mongoloid child smiling.

that's more or less the standard size of European dishwashers along with models that are slimmer in size for smaller kitchens. The dial is found on either side of the control panel which is the norm. It seems Turkey is the only country to have basic 2 programme dishwashers while elsewhere in Europe, the bare minimum is 4. :)

What a tribute to the BOL's. I'm actually liking that GE in Reply 4 because I appreciate a clean design(before Apple's foray into that expression). I know it's nice to have a door to access ice, water, etc. but only if it's
hidden til needed. Anyways....thanks for posting a P.O.V. seldom seen. Luckily the builder BOL's choices we
experienced were the bare minimums. Today's BOL ...would they hold up to the BOL's of say, the 50's, 60's?
Kinda doubt it.
