Tucsan Wash In.. Thoughts

Ok seeing as how the wash in is near by, i may not be able to attend, because i just under went an emergancy operation on my right eye today to prevent a small tumor from expanding any further and to correct some sudden vision loss. I am ok and fine and I can see, so its no big issue..
But i am not supposed to fly or do anything that invloves tons of pressure put on my head for quite a while.

So what do i do with my plane ticket under these circumstances??? I really want to come, but am not sure i can put my body through this.. The last thing i need is to have something happen while i am there..
Thoughts or Ideas??? I am saddend if i can't come, but in the same time i think my health is a tad mroe important

You need to have a chat with your doc. Ask him if you can fly and if he tells you no, Then you need to see about getting a refund for your ticket or finding someone willing to buy it from you to use.

Yes, check with your surgeon/Dr. and heed his advice. Take good care of yourself. If that person advises against the trip, with most airlines I think you can apply the proceeds to another ticket with a fee for about a year.

After never having been on jury duty, I was assigned to that week, of all weeks in my 45 years on this earth, but happily I could postpone it til April.

I don't post here too much but I think maybe you should think about your health rather than go to the wash in. I hear that having a head cold can be torture when you are in a plane. I was toying with the idea of going too because there would be other "vacuum folk" there but i have to work during that time. I also was also looking foward to meeting Toggles but i will have to settle for a "Hi Steve!" here on the forum! Chad, see if you can get a refund. Have some kind of documentation from your MD advising you against air travel. That may help in getting a refund. Good luck and take care of that eye!

The airlines will work with you.

Especially if it is related to a medical issue. They may require a note from your doctor but I don't think you'll lose the ticket or the money. In my experience Southwest Airlines is the best at working with you. What airline are you booked on?

I am not sure whats going on. I am having such a time right now.. I am the happiest i have been in no telling how long and i am in a great relationship, but damint, i want my health, i don't want to be friggin sick any more.. As soon as i find out more i will let yall know
