Found out about an interesting event and went to it Saturday.
We have a local museum here, it’s very small and usually has displays of local artifacts, Indian baskets, pioneer items, etc. It has been home for the last few weeks to a mini-Tupperware show!
Evidently, there is a local couple who were top sales performers for Tupperware during the height of the Tupperware party era. They kept one, at least, of every single item made. They had enough to fill a 40-foot trailer!
They are displaying rare items from the 50s, 60s and 70s, and also have some newer, but still rather vintage, items for sale there. So we went, and it was really neat.
Of course, we could not leave without buying some items. Included in our haul were some pitchers, picnic salt and pepper and catsup bottles, tumblers, cake keeper, a few TupperToys, and a few other items.
It was a ton of fun, and we plan to go back.
