Range Options
I've seen a turquoise 1959 GE 40-inch range for $3,800 -- completely rebuilt. Rick, the new Northstars on the site you linked me to start at $4,000. Both of those are totally out of my price range and the 40-inch GE, as gorgeous as it is, violates my space limitations.
My guess is that since automotive finishes stand up to the blazing sun, intense engine heat, etc., it should stand up to cooking temperatures -- especially if I keep it protected with Jubilee Kitchen Wax.
Bethann, please tell me more about powder coating.
Thanks!
