Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

I wish it were a pushbutton, I'd nab it in a second at that price, but I believe it's just an emblem and the door opens conventionally. Still a bargain if someone local can rescue it.

So I reached out to the seller to see if I was missing something I couldn't live without, and she confirmed it's just an emblem, so I'll be able to sleep easy tonight, lol.

Does anyone have the Tech-Talk on these? What caught my eye on the turquoise model was that it was a 16 while the famous ad with the push-button is a 19. I've also got a 16 in brushed chrome and mine is a fixed emblem as well.

So was this feature relegated to the TOL model? Or optional on others?

I guess that I had not seen this 16CF model that had the nice Wing-Swept door handles but it still uses the awful evaporator design under the freezer floor that would eventually develop defrost problems.

The 1966 19CF Bottom Freezer design was a great move forward with the single vertical evaporator behind the freezers rear wall.

We still have the 1967 19 CF Food-Life-Preserver in my collection here at home, it has the fresh food section divided into two sections with he top 1/2 being a high humidity section and the lower part is a fast chill area.
