Your sets sound pretty neat as well. The Chromacolor here is 100% solid state, and has a continuous UHF tuner as well, being pre 1974 and such.

Yesterday I was able to test the TVs that still had their power cords in tact. The Zenith System 3 is dead...

The Motorola, however, powered right up and works perfectly, other than it will need the pots cleaned, some reconvergenece, and the screen controls readjusted. The picture tube started off dim, but kept getting brighter as I left it play.

That Zenith looks like the tube type model but down in the bottom corner you can see text: "Solid State". This is probably the horizontal solid state chassis as opposed to the later 70's vertical chassis.
The tube model of this style used 4 tubes: horiz. output, vert. output, damper, and horiz. oscillator, the rest was solid state.

Personally I have not had as good of luck on the System 3 consoles as the Chromacolors...the system 3's tend to have more power supply problems and weak CRT's in the 25 inch size.
