TWI180WP Dryer Error

<span style="font-family: 'American Typewriter', serif;">Hello all, I have a Miele </span><span style="font-family: 'American Typewriter', serif; color: #191919;">TWI180WP Dryter that keeps throwing  the “Clean the plinth filter” error.  I have cleaned everything yet it keeps throwing the error.  The filter appears to be clean.  I routinely clean it when needed.  I have it soaking now hoping that maybe there is old dust in the filter that is slowing the air flow.</span>

<span style="font-family: helvetica;">Never thought to search for "airway" but I guess that makes sense.  I soaked and squeezed the filter really well and a lot more lint came out in the water.  Clearly, a routine rinsing is not enough.  I put it back in and still got the error so on the advice of a friend (thank you Mark) I let it dry overnight. I put it back in and it's been working fine.</span>

 

<span style="font-family: helvetica;">The new filter I ordered comes tomorrow so I will have a spare moving forward.  Visions in my head of me having to go to the laundromat to dry these clothes made me a little crazy and I guess I over reacted a little bit.</span>
