$150 in Anderson SC. Early 90's but can't tell anything else from the one picture the seller included on the listing. Includes the mini basket!

The first one looks gently used. That would be the one I would go for.

Great as they are those GE Filter Flow washers IIRC use huge amounts of water. Unless one has inexpensive and plentiful source of same it can cost dear to use those washers on regular basis.

I wish I had a GE Filter Flo but I don’t think the septic system would be too happy even though it’s pumped out on a yearly basis. Have to be mindful in the cooler fall and winter months since it doesn’t seem to keep up since the ground where the drain field is can only absorb so much water before it can’t anymore. Usually limit myself to 1 small or 1 medium load a day during the cooler months.

Age is killing them these days. Outer tubs are rusting out, seen several that way.

Ours went into the septic system for many years with no trouble.

FFs and septic systems

I used mine regularly and I'm on a septic system. Never had any problems.

Huh, maybe it’s the inlet T to the septic system? Once before is backed up into the tub when doing a few loads of laundry (this is when it was pouring rain in January of 2017) and settled down after awhile. Maybe I am being a bit of a worry wart, but ever since then I’ve been mindful of how much water I put down the drain in the cooler and damp months of the winter and fall. During the warmer months, not much of a problem, though.

Maybe one of your distribution tanks in your leech field is clogged up. Happened to me a few years ago, a distribution tank completely caved in.

That could be, or it simply needs a ‘deep cleaning’. That’s more than likely the issue that I am having with the septic system.
