That's really sad My grandmother had a lamp like that in her house over the kitchen table. The sight of that lamp reminds me of eating meals with her. I can certainly say that I would be heartbroken over loosing something like this too

I've been looking for something like that to put in my home. I ended up settling on a "sputink" light fixture due to the rarety of those types of lamps. My "UFO" is still in the box right now, but is slated to go up once the floor is re-finished, and the last coat of paint goes on the trim!

Thanks, Versa! I've got my eye on that last one that Dr. Mitch posted, too. I was talking to Bethann the other day and we discovered that we had both been eyeing the same light fixture on ebay! Good thing we didn't start bidding against each other; we both like to win!

Hmmm. There's a ceiling fixture in my foyer that I'm not crazy about, either...
