Tricity Oven

No shortage of these Tricity ovens at the moment. This has shown up an interesting point as it must have been during this series that they moved from the smaller vent panels (with the overall height of the unit being around 1050mm) to the larger panels (overall height 1200mm) - see the two units I posted yesterday

Wrighton Kitchen?

From the same seller as the Tricity oven. Well it might be Wrighton although I am not fully convinced - Wrighton were absolutely TOL at the time and this does not look any great shakes to me! What I do know is that it is not worth £800 or anything like it.

Note the early Neff cooker hood - they kept this style, more or less unchanged, for a very long time after this kitchen which would be around 1974.

Hoovermatic T5004

Pricy but its not often you see one in such good condition - its almost exactly 40 years old - from May 1976. Its been slightly modified with a handle to the spinner lid. Flex has been replaced too.

It was the heat switch that made me think it was from WK time rather than Philips, but of course there would be similarities as it was all the same factory. Actually I should have better said early WK days, before there were major drifts from the Philips design.

We had the model before this which my mam must have got in the 60s. It was in a grey plastic case, was square with a round outlet that said dry nails on it, had the same attachments and a nozzle as well and a strap so you could carry it - not sure how useful that was considering our house only had one plug socket in each room at the time! We had it for years!
