This thing needs to be put out of its misery! But a non heater version is rare no question of that. Pictures of the front control and tub for comparison
I think this might be (later) Siematic also. I want to say 1980s but that hob looks like an Eastham Burco which would date it back to the later 1970s. Would be helpful if there were more pictures.
Eastham E Line kitchen - 1970s of course not 1960s. Funny enough I picked up an oven last weekend from a kitchen with some of these units in - I told the seller to list them when he replaces them. Again, could do with better pictures
Well you gotta have a laugh don't you? This could be any time from the last 1950s to early 1970s. Tom and Barbara in "The Good Life" (US Good Neighbours?) had a Kandya Kitchen
This does look like a mid 1970s kitchen although it has been quite skilfully updated over the years, the appliances for the most part are much newer (probably about 10 years old) although it looks like it may have an original, décor panelled fridge. It has stood up remarkably well and still looks reasonably contemporary to be 40 years old
I have never seen a freestanding cooker like this before, can anybody shed some light on it.Looks like the bottom is just a cupboard.Combined oven and grill how modern ,sorry havent got hang of adding photos if someone can help..Nige.
These are the pictures Reversomatic was not able to post
This is from the mid-1950s and they do crop up from time to time - there is also one in the Science Museum in London. It comes from a time when they were looking for innovations in kitchen appliances and this was one way to make a premium priced cooker out of, frankly, not that much. When you take the eye level oven out of the equation, it is little more than a basic cooker with a very small oven and no grill chamber.
I have added an advert for this cooker - "Heart-high" indeed
I think the upper part of the cupboard may have a low power heating element in it for keeping food hot - the toggle switch on the front kind of indicates that.
