Ohh I dont know if any of you can get Uk History channel on SKY or cable over the pond, but there running a series "Every home should have one" - Where Garry Lavin - MAJOR CUTIE!!! shows us the history of appliances. old adverts and demostrates old mixers, dishwashers etc, telling you how they came about, its SOoooooo Good!

I would love to see it...

I loved "The Secret Life of Machines" from the UK. Sure, some of the info was "regionalized" for lack of a better word, but that made it even more interesting. I hope we can see this show.

That said, it is amazing how many inventions were grabbed by other people, and the real inventors ending up broke, committing suicide, losing patent rights, etc. Geez, remind me if reincarnation happens across all timelines, NOT to come back to life as an inventor in the 1800s/1900s.
